DE among the finalists of the Best Entrepreneurship Idea 2010 of Canton Ticino

BSI SA in collaboration with CP Startup and Tecnopolo Lugano organized last November 30th the event BSI Meets the Future.

During the event it has been delivered the prize for the best entrepreneurship idea of 2010 of Canton Ticino. The winner was Daniel Lepori with DisegNergy.

Dolphin Engineering has been selected within the finalists and has the opportunity to present the SMART VINEYARD project in a crowded Auditorium at the Università della Svizzera italiana.

First Three Installations in Vineyards

Dolphin Engineering installed the first three Precision Agriculture experimental solutions in three vineyards of Canton Ticino.

The goal is to make predictions of the Scaphoideus Titanus development in Contone, Camorino and Biasca.

Collaboration with EnvEve

Dolphin Engineering started a collaboration with EnvEve SA to use its Wireless Sensor Network solutions for Precision Agriculture.

New installations will be placed in some vineyard in Ticino within the KTI/CTI project SMART VINEYARD.

Accepted Funds by KTI/CTI

The Swiss Federal Innovation Promotion Agency (CTI/KTI) approved a request for funds of 170'530 CHF for a two-years research and development project titled SMART VINEYARD: wireless Sensor network-based adaptive MAnagement system to foRecasT VINEYARD pests.

Project Leader and main financing parter of this project is Dolphin Engineering.
